Work / Discount App Redesign

Role: Product Designer
Focus: Mobile experience · User research · Product strategy

This project started as a redesign of a poorly rated dining discount app that needed to evolve into a full replacement for the product’s main website. Our four-person team, made up of two project managers and two designers, began by digging into the existing site and speaking with sales staff who sold the program daily.

Those conversations revealed two key insights: merchants needed to be more visible within the experience, and users needed a better way to organize and save offers and purchases. Using that direction, we reimagined the app around discovery and personalization, redesigning navigation and hierarchy to bring both clarity and utility to the interface.

The project went through several rounds of scope changes and shifting priorities before being paused due to leadership changes, but it remains one of the most comprehensive examples of early-stage product definition and UX collaboration I’ve worked on.
