The existing app had had little more than compatibility fixes for about 4 or 5 years. My team, which consisted of myself, one other designer and a project manager, were charged with updating every single pixel to create a modern app.

Solution
After user surveys and research, we spent over a year redesigning everything and packing the app with new features. We put together over 200 screens detailing everything from onboarding, login, membership purchase path, favoriting, accounts, offer redemption, and everything in between.
Challenges
Through the 15 months of design and development, we ran into several setbacks involving scheduling and feature cuts by the development team. New management ultimately decided to end the project, days before it was to launch.
